Hide your drying dishes in the dishwasher

CaptionI know this sounds weird, but I rarely ever use my dishwasher (I'm talking a few times a year).While having dinner with a friend recently, I found out that growing up her family never used theirs either, they would hand wash their dishes, and then put them in the dishwasher simply just to try. This leaves your counter space empty and usable for whatever else you may need while hiding the dishes while they dry! I know this isn't revolutionary, but it's something I'm definitely going to start doing more!
