LPT: Get a library card and check out your library's website, especially if you live in a large, metro area.

I recently learned that I can access Lynda.com through my library's website for free, saving myself $25 a month. Upon further investigations, there's a ton of databases and other learning websites that I can access as well. I highly recommend getting a library card and exploring your local library's website and local branch, especially if you live in or near a big city. PLUS! You can now stream movies and download e-books as well.
