LPT: If you have a bad smelling water bottle or thermos, you can get rid of the smell by soaking it in a solution of water and baking soda

My water bottles smelled awful because I didn't wash them as regularly as I should have, and washing them with dish soap did not get rid of the smell. Instead of throwing them out, I soaked them in a small tub of water and baking soda for about an hour, then washed off. Works with other smells too, like coffee in thermoses
