LPT: if you regularly backup your data, make sure that it can actually be restored easily from your backups.

Friendly reminder everyone: Backups are only as good as they're able to be restored. A scary amount of people spend hours a week making backups and never test if they can be restored easily. I've at least on one occasion seen this bite people. So don't just backup your shit. Test that backup.
