LPT: If you're attending college apply for FAFSA even if you're planning on paying for all your schooling out of pocket. You may get a grant.(money you don't have to pay back)

I did not apply for FAFSA for this fall because I did not need a loan to pay for my semester. I didn't realize I could also get a grant which you do not have to pay back. When I applied for FASFA this semester I got an 1,100 dollar grant. So I paid 1,100 dollars that would have been given to me if I just applied for FASFA.
