LPT: When buying something and trying to figure out if an upgrade\upsale is worth the money. Look at it the other way. Assume you have the upgraded version and see if you would remove those extra features for that much money returned to you in hand.

This especially works for large purchases where people are more likely to get less useful add-ons because the extra cost is only a small percent of the total.
