LPT Whenever you take an Uber or Lyft alone, make sure the child locks are not turned on or sit in the front seat.

I took an Uber the other night and I couldn’t open the door. Turns out the guy turned child locks on. I contacted Uber about this and Uber responded with they tell their drivers to do this so they can open the door for you. I was basically held hostage in the car till the driver decided to open the door.

If you don’t know, child locks are on the inside of the door and usually look like a little bolt that can be moved up and down.
