LPT: Create an account with UPS, Fedex, and USPS, that way you'll get to customize your online deliveries with instructions like "hold at shipping facility for pick up". The verification takes a few weeks, so it's better to get it done before you're expecting an expensive/timely delivery

Do this if you're sick of your packages being "Left at front door" and going missing, or getting those "Sorry we've missed you" tags when you were home the entire day.
