LPT, expecting a package? Don't want it stolen? Get a heavy duty tote with hinged lid, drill holes to match with supports in porch, big washers and screws, slap a padlock on it, and put a note requesting delivery guy to lock the unlocked padlock once package is in tote.

Decorate it with paneling or whatever so it looks OK and fits in with the design of your porch.
