LPT: Have a sock filled with rocks/raw beans for reusable cold/hot pack

So, I have narcolepsy and I am just the clumsiest thing on top of it. Just moved in with my boyfriend and I smacked my jaw pretty good on the door frame. He just grabbed this sock with some rocks (interchangeable with raw beans apparently) that he had in the freezer and held it to my face. Surprisingly romantic. It’s definitely saved us from buying bulk packs of ice packs, like I’ve done for years. I run into floors and doors a little more than I’d like to admit. Well now comes the time of the month and here comes Mr. Handy microwaving the sock for my back. Just honestly nice for people on a budget and sweet gesture when in pain, knowing he’s made this for me and it actually helps. (Plus it’s better for the environment)
