Some projects at work require me to do the same things over and over so a few years ago I just started recording my actions and playing them back. There are a ton of cool things you can do with macros in Excel, but you'll need a macro recorder/player program to interact with any window. I've been using Workspace Macro Pro for a a while now and use it everyday. I don't think it's around anymore, but I'm sure there are other products like it available. You may need to practice with it to make sure they play back correctly before you try it with anything that can't be undone. You'll be a hero the first time you can do a week long project in a day or two, or just finish your work early and goof off the rest of the time.
LPT If you do repetitive tasks on your computer for work, try using macros.
