LPT: Keep all of your tax documents, every year. You never know when you might be audited or even contacted about a discrepancy

This may seem obvious to some folks but still worth bringing up. I was just contacted by my last state of residence's Dept of revenue for fair to file the year after I moved out of state. Thanks to the fact that I'd kept all my tax docs, I was able to easily rectify the situation.
