LPT: Want to destroy important paper documents? Don't have a shredder at home and perhaps live in an apartment so can't burn them? Fill a large bucket with hot water and soak for an hour before tearing, pulverising and otherwise creating a pulped ball of your former confidential docs.

A solution for a small home office. Quite satisfying to do. If you have a family member working in a corporate office I guess it might be easier to shred them at work. And if you have an indoor fire or outdoor BBQ area you won't need this LPT, but I've just cleared out the filing cabinet using hot water
