YSK the difference between Daylight Saving Time and regular time. The sun sets LATER in the evening when DST is active (during the summer in the U.S.), while the sun sets EARLIER when DST it isn't active (during wintertime).

I bring this up because when we make the switch, there are a lot of people that say, "Get rid of Daylight Saving Time!" But then they follow up with, "I like my long summer nights when the sun sets later!" In case you didn't realize this, getting rid of DST would also get rid of those long summer days.

Perhaps if you don't like changing your clocks, but want to keep your long summer days, embrace DST, and instead exclaim that you wish DST was year-round.
