I am not sticking up for Roy Moore, I've just known many -philes in my day and we should get our terms straight.
A pedophile is defined as a person who is attracted to pre-pubescent children. Think under 10 years of age.
A hebaphile is attracted to middle of the road, early adolescent children, usually aged 11-14.
A ephebophile is attracted to 'barely legal' aged persons, defined as ages 15-19.
These ages are approximate as local laws vary and people hit puberty at different ages. Females tend to hit sexual maturity a little later than males, but everyone is different. They are all a little weird imho, but having sex with a toddler (pedophilia) is worlds away from having sex with your high school girlfriend after you're over 20. That's just unfortunate timing.
