LPT: If you are aware a loved one is terminally ill, save the voicemails they’ve left you onto the voice memos on your phone. It’s nice to hear their voice days, weeks or years later.

When I found out my mom had leukemia (with only a 6mo - two year survival rate), I just started keeping all her voicemails. Not purposely, just because. After she passed I was glad I had the vms and I wanted a way to keep them without inadvertently deleting them. So I moved them all to voice memos and now whenever I think of her or feel blue I’ll listen to one. I like hearing her tell me about her shopping list or that she’s tried a new restaurant. I will always miss you mom.
