LPT: Instead of telling retail workers "I can't believe/I'm sorry that you're working on Christmas", tell them "Thank you for working on Christmas".

There's nothing more annoying to hear from customers since the customers are the reason they have to work in the first place. Also some people want to be there for the increased wages.
