Rule of thumb: if you can smell it an hour after you put it on, so can everyone in about a 15 ft (5 meter) radius. No one should smell your perfume/cologne unless they are close enough to shake your hand or give you a hug.
Spray one pump in the air to ensure the atomizer is fully primed, then spray ONE PUMP on your body.
