Windshield defrosting using alcohol hack help?

CaptionSo Ive heard of this life hack that helps you defrost your windshield incredibly quick with minimal effort and I was not only wondering if anyone has used it and what is there take, but also about a slight alteration of mine.The original hack is to get a spray bottle and mix it with 2/3 70% proof alcohol, and 1/3 water. Simple enough. Then spray it on the windshield, leave it be for a few minutes and you should be able to rub off your windshield like nothing. My question is, what is your experience with this? Was it that simple and easy?And for my own alteration. I already own a spray bottle, and it is still filled with 90% proof alcohol. No water mixed in. I forget what the original purpose was for but basically I still have a spray bottle that is filled entirely of alcohol that is 90% proof and Im wondering if it is still just as good, if not better.
