YSK that if you are ever forced to walk through a skid row area of homeless it is in your best interest not to operate a camera.

People that live on skid row typically do not want to be seen by the world- especially family and friends. By you taking pictures or video you are perceived and to be potentially violating their privacy and exposing them when they’d rather not be seen and thus exposing yourself to potential violence.
