LPT: Download a remote desktop app to your phone so it can still be used after screen damage

I recently dropped my phone and a small area of the display stopped working, over the next few hours of use more of the screen became unusable.

I found success in using an app called AirDroid that has a feature whereby the phone screen can be mirrored and manipulated from a web browser. This has become an invaluable tool in retrieving data - now that practically all of the display is broken.

Disclaimer:

1) I first installed TeamViewer however the setup buttons where blocked by the damaged area, I also imagine there are more RD applications available
