LPT: If you are helping someone move do not assume they have tools available to take things apart (like beds, disconnect washer/dryer, etc). Bring a tool bag with a few common tools. Having these can help the move go faster.

I typically bring: channel locks (adjustable pliers), adjustable wrenches 8" and 12", hammer, punch (in case you need to remove a door from its hinge), screw drivers (common and phillips), just to name a few.
