LPT: If you're thinking of having kids, don't try in March or April. No one likes having their birthday near Christmas.

And if you DO have a kid near Christmas, don't let anyone give them a "birthday-slash-Christmas" present.

I've been to three birthday celebrations over the past month (including one for someone who was born on Christmas), and there was not a lot of fondness for getting half as much as every other kid or having indoor parties because of the weather. The prevailing opinion was to get it on in fall so your kid has a nice summer birthday, except for one guy who said to never have kids "because no one wants to imagine their parents having sex."
