Its been a year since I lost my 19 year old cat and before losing her, I had absolutely no memories without her being some part of my life. Although we have tonnes of photos of her as a kitten, growing up, ageing and elderly, I thought I had no videos. Today I finally got access to my old OneDrive account and have found so many videos of her being playful, falling asleep and dropping her head onto her face, purring, cleaning my other (still alive) elderly cat and generally being herself with her individual quirks. I've cried at every video because I never thought that I'd hear her purr again, see her run around like a kitten or simply fall asleep.
This also goes for your human loved ones. I found pictures and videos with my great Nan who died two years ago and this has made my mum's day to hear her talk again.
Take videos of normal life. You'll need them.
