LPT: Wash your used clothes before donating them to Goodwill or Salvation Army. If anything smells or looks remotely foul we immediately dispose your entire stock. Same goes for broken or dirty furniture and appliances. We don't fix stuff or wash them, we sell as-is or dump it.

Goodwill volunteer here. We get a mass influx of donations this time of year, but we throw away at least half of it for the reasons mentioned in OP.

We don't wash clothes.
We don't clean or fix anything.
We don't reassemble furniture for you.

Please don't use these storefronts as a place to dump your junk and trash that no one can do anything useful with. The amount of time and resources wasted sorting through junk and sending stuff to landfills could have been used towards assisting those in need.
