LPT: When visiting a new city or state, go into a thrift store(Goodwill, Salvation Army) to get cool local T-Shirts.
Instead of spending $20+ on a touristy shirt or hat, head to a resale shop to get unique local shirts at a much cheaper price. Only takes a couple minutes and you could find something really cool.
