CaptionIf I ever try to use my card and the machine won’t recognize it I turn to a couple tricks I learned over the years in customer service. If the mag strip isn’t working take a plastic shopping bag and clean the mag strip with it. If the chip is having problems then rub it on the soul of your shoe. Not the bottom, but the side, you just want a cleaner rubber surface. I have no idea why these work, but they have fixed mine and countless others cards when billing out. I would give it a solid 90% success rate.
