YSK: There are 5 credit reporting agencies in the US. Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, Innovis, and PRBC

Before tonight I'd only ever even heard of the first three but Innovis and PRBC are newer credit bureaus. These five are are Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) There are other companies which aren't FCRA complaint and they offer scores and such. Given the huge data breach experienced by Equifax I think it's extremely important for everyone to know this.

There is probably a lot more info here that I'm missing as I just learned about Innovis and PRBC tonight but my first thought was "everyone should know this!" so I hope this helps.
