YSK you cannot fly to the US or within the US if you are carrying harddrives and aren't able to turn them on for the security.

Missed my flight today because one of 5 harddrives that I'm carrying have a firewire cord so I couldn't use my laptop to turn it on. American Airline (the shittiest airline I know) didn't help either by sending me back and forth to the security. They wasted so much of my time that I missed the flight. Needless to say, they didn't give me a replacement ticket either.

Lessons I learned:

new weird rules may come in at any time. Airlines don't tell you. Do your research before any flight.

avoid American Airlines if you can.

as soon as things start to turn to shit start filming everything. I started filming late so I don't have proof of the worst part of my encounter with the airline staff.

Edit: I purchased another flight from AirCanada for $660. It's now delayed so I'm missing my connection flight. What a clusterfuck.
