LPT: Turn your lights on in inclement weather. It’s not for you to be able to see; it’s so other drivers can see you.

I witnessed a near collision today because someone pulled out in front of an oncoming car that they couldn’t see coming. It was raining pretty heavily and the oncoming driver didn’t have his lights on. In some states you can even be at fault in a collision if you drive without your headlights on when they should be.
