YSK typical USB cables charge slowly, search for 28/24 cables for fast charging applications (like your phone or tablet)
The USB standard is only 500 mA of current, maximum, which would take hours to charge a typical modern phone battery.
A 28/24 cable uses 24 AWG wire for power delivery, allowing for much higher current and thus charge your batteries faster (in the AWG scale, a lower number means a thicker wire). The cable that came with your phone is almost certainly already 28/24, if not even thicker.
Every USB cable manufacturer I know (Monoprice, Aukey, Anker just off the top of my head) produces 28/24 cables, so if you have a particular brand you prefer they likely also produce 28/24 cables.
