YSK: When enough people call a group Nazis or fascists enough times, eventually actual Nazis and actual fascists will join that group because of the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy phenomenon where the expectation is the cause and fulfillment of the effect.
Douglas Murray discussed this topic at length in his book The Strange Death of Europe. The Left has done a great job (in Europe for decades and now increasingly in America) of inadvertently helping to creat extreme Rightist groups by calling initially modest Rightist groups "Nazis" and "fascists", because then actual Nazis and fascists will think "if everyone is calling (Group X) Nazis, then they must be Nazis, so I'll join them because I'm a Nazi." Before long, that group becomes radicalized by this new unintended demographic.
My point is that words have power and they should be used carefully. If you disagree with a person or a group, use appropriate words to describe them, not hyperbolic ones, lest you create your own Frankenstein's monster.
