YSK which routine preventive health screenings are recommended for you & your loved ones at what age.

The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) is an independent panel of health experts that regularly reviews all the available evidence regarding health screening interventions and makes official recommendations about which ones you should get, at what age, and how often. This is awesome, but these recommendations often change based on new research and can get complicated. Your doctor can help you figure out which ones you're due for, but a lot of people don't go to the doctor every year (which new research is suggesting may be okay if you don't have any medical problems), so they may fall behind on them.

Fortunately, the USPSTF has a handy tool where you just enter your gender, age, and pregnancy status and they will tell you all the screenings that are currently recommended for you! So if you're one of those people that doesn't go to the doctor very often, you can see if you're due for a visit or still okay. A lot of these screenings, especially the cancer ones, don't start until age 50 or older, so if you haven't reached this age group, you can enter info for your parents and see if they're up to date on all their recommended screenings (or just send them the link if you don't want to talk to your dad about colonoscopies or whatever).

tl;dr go here!!
