YSK Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) are police officers skilled in assisting mental health, developmentally disabled, or emotionally disturbed adults and children.

These are specially trained officers that learn how to appropriately react to calls that involve mentally ill or developmentally disabled people. When calling the police or 911 for an incident such as attempted suicide, psychotic breaks, etc. you can request a CIT officer to help the situation.
