YSK: Do not click on a link and enter your account information even if it seems like it is from the bank. Only ever enter your information on the bank website.

I got a text in the middle of the night saying that I had a security alert for my Bank of America account. The text asked me to confirm me account. The website was boawaba.com. I thought it was odd for 3 reasons. 1. I didn't look like a normal text from a bank. A fraud alert tells you what the charge was and where and asks you a yes or no question. 2. It wasn't the banks website. 3. They didn't email me any issues. My banks always email me if there is an issue.

I was also involved in the equifax data breach, so it's even more important to be skeptical. Keep your account info safe out there!
