For those that are interested, there is a simple way of telling where a car was manufactured. Just simply look at the first digit of the VIN. These are some of the most common codes.
- 1,4, & 5 - United States
- 2 - Canada
- 3 - Mexico
- W - Germany
- K- Korea
- J- Japan
