LPT: After a serious break-up, go and buy a bottle of new perfume/aftershave.

When you've spent a long time using the same perfume or aftershave, you're often taken back to certain memories when you smell it. Often times, an ex partner will be in those memories. Buying a new bottle will act as a starting point for a new period in your life and it will boost your confidence to go back out into the world.

Also, generally spending money on yourself is good for the soul. Treat yourself, I'm sure you deserve it.
