LPT: Broke but love steak? Buy a roast (they are only 10-15$) and cut it into 7-10 steaks for the next couple weeks.

Secondary LPT: when cooking a steak sear it on the outside on a high temp and then bake it at 200 for 7-10 minutes (20 if from frozen). You can even sear and season them all at once and put them in the fridge so you can throw one in the oven quickly later while your doing something else.
