LPT: When depositing a check by phone, prop up the check at an angle to avoid the phone shadow issue.

Obviously still take the pics straight on from the check. (So your phone will be on the same angle as the check.) Keep the check relatively flat when propped up. I use a salt shaker on its side to prop my checks.
