If you're heading out into the madness of Black Friday, you should take a look at some of the gift card sites/apps first to see if they're offering a discount on the stores you're planning on hitting up.
Bitmo seems to be the best deal. The app is fairly new but I've used it several times without issue (they're always running fun promos). This just hit my inbox: http://ift.tt/2jTQBh5. The 10% applies to only one so you have to pick between GameStop, Macy's, Sephora, Ulta, Old Navy or REI. Coupon code is BLACKFRIDAY (fyi don't enter it in the promo code field--wait to enter it at checkout).
Raise is pretty solid but the biggest discounts seem to be for random places. The big box retailers usually range from a 1-3% discount. It's always changing so the best thing to do is just buy when you need it.
Cardcash is another marketplace--similar to Raise in that you're buying from 3rd party resellers. I personally haven't used it and reviews seem to be split so proceed with caution. They have a 5% off discount right now with code BLACKFRIDAYSALE.
Gyft is usually my go-to but Bitmo is quickly replacing their app since Bitmo offers a free swap feature for all gift cards. Pro: I really like that you can pay with bitcoin. App functions ok but I feel like they can do a lot better given how long they've been around. Current promo is $5 off $50 to Lowe's with code BUILDON.
