LPT: If someone has lost their phone, send a message to that phone saying "If found call (your number)". More than likely someone will open the phone and be able to read that message from the drop down menu, and give you a call.
My fiancé and her friend lost their phones this weekend and it worked both times. 2/2 success rate. Of course this only works if the priviacy settings allow for messages to be read from the drop down menu.
