When it drops below freezing, prevent your car doors from sticking to the rubber seals by spraying silicone spray on a cloth and wiping them down.

When I was winterizing water craft at a dealer, we would spray the engine down with silicone spray. One of the other techs pointed out spraying the rubber seals on the access hatch, because it made them easy to open in the cold months. I started doing this to the seals on my cars, and the doors rarely stick shut.

I was reminded about this tonight when I ripped the door handle off a car due to it being stuck shut.
