LPT: If you cherish a dish that a love one makes (Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc), record them making it so you'll always have the recipe on hand and a great memory forever.

My mom passed years ago and with her went her German potato salad recipe. I've been trying for 10 years to duplicate it and I'm close, but there's always something missing. I wish I took the time to write it down or make it with her more. I realized how awesome it would be to be able to watch her make it one more time. Don't let the opportunity pass you my friends. Life is fragile. One moment they're here, the next they're gone...
