LPT: If you struggle to get out of bed in the mornings (especially cold mornings) get a thermostat or heater you can schedule/program and set it to high about 20min before you want to be up.

Kind of discovered this by accident recently when I had to change my ancient thermostat for a new one. We splurged for a programmable one because why not, it was only a dollar more than our first pick. Never had a programmable thermostat before. It's January and I know I hate having to get out of bed when it's cold in the mornings and I already struggle like crazy to wake up in the mornings.

After doing this for a while, setting my thermostat to basically blazing I remembered why I have such an easier time managing my sleep/wake cycle in the summer versus the winter.

It's hard to stay in bed when you're sweating a storm and it's easier to get up, get moving, take a shower and get dressed if you wake up to your room feeling like a sauna.

I wish I learned this decades ago, tbh.
