LPT: Keep a list of model/serial numbers belonging to appliances, electronics, power tools etc saved in cloud storage it can come in handy.

Its handy for numerous reasons:
A lot of these serial numbers often get erased or become illegible with use.
When you need to find out if the item still has a manufacturers warranty.
When you lost manuals or other literature and need to find them.
If god forbid, you need to claim them because of an insurance loss.

I recommended cloud storage but you can also keep a local/physical list.
