LPT: When looking for a job or corresponding with someone you don’t personally know, take some time to learn how to spell/ pronounce their name.

It’s the little things. I don’t notice when my name is spelled right, but boy do I notice when it’s spelled wrong, or, when it’s not even close to what my name is. People with unique(ly spelled) names will appreciate the effort. I know I do!

It doesn’t all have to do with jobs and professional environments, but it’s a small sign of respect that goes a long way. I am less willing to work with or respect someone who does not take the time on those kinds of details.
