CaptionI speak both languages pretty well but I'm a native English speaker. Sometimes when I call customer service lines and they give a ridiculous wait time, I call back and choose the option to speak to a representative in Spanish. You almost always get a person on the line more quickly (sometimes by a lot), and all you really need to be able to do is understand which number buttons to press. For those wondering, I've never had a situation where the person on the other end ONLY spoke Spanish -- they're almost always bilingual and happy to continue the call in English if you prefer.Just did this to cancel my internet service and it worked like a charm and saved me 45 minutes on hold. If you can understand some basic instructions in Spanish, give it a shot!
