YSK: Some countries refuse entry to people if their passport is expiring within six months of their intended stay. So if you are travelling overseas, either ensure that your passport is not expiring within six months, or the country you are traveling to will accept passports until expiry.
Only found this out when a friend wasn't able to board her flight to Bali because her passport was expiring this year in May.
