YSK that Google Maps has an offline feature that doesn't require data use. By downloading a map section on Wi-Fi all data is saved to your phone.

Works very well when travelling to other countries and may not have data capabilities. Once you have a SIM card in it will work with your phone's GPS. Saved my ass here in Costa Rica a couple of times. I realized how much I really take for granted how amazing GPS maps are and don't know what I would have done without this feature
