The mod removed my last post for "inaccuracies" so I am going to make a better accurate attempt. AT&T does not charge you "minutes" for using 911 services, they charge you money and add the charge to your bill. Also if you have a contract plan this may not affect you. This may only affect people who use prepaid phones. In my state, New Hampshire, the fee is $1 to make a call to 911. I thought it was an interesting "valid" topic and I just wanted to share.
